On Marlpost Road
Iterum arque iterum …
Come to me, within the living moment of a dream
That is passing, has passed, without having been,
Yet adds to itself continually before passing,
And is therefore eternal and can never be past,
But living and evolving throughout time,
And is ever a man on a road beneath trees,
Being ongoing; time within and outside place,
Within its own time, within its own place,
Within the time that is beyond all time and place,
Within the mind where dwells both time and place,
Within the place that is beyond the mind itself,
Being within the inner mind that has no place
And is beyond the time where place and time are one
And is forever and but always
Beneath an ever overarching canopy of trees.
Each moment here is more than just one moment,
Being the iterative culmination of all moments here,
Past, present and future, actual and imaginary,
All the very same: for this is the real world,
The world of the soul in and out of time and place.
But I do not wander here enough.
