My challenge

My challenge is to photograph the more serene aspects of natural history. Not so much the pure subject but the hidden patterns, colours and artistic attributes which make up the wonders of the ever changing landscapes which surround us. A camera simply put, is a light tight box with optics which provides a way to produce an image either on film or digital sensor. The photographer creates the image. The satisfaction is to find good subject material and combined with light create that interesting photograph. There are some very creative photographers which have inspired me. The following selection of references I would recommend anyone to have a look at and a visit to the websites is well worth it.
